Where Practice Meets Performance.

Title Entry

Title Awards

Title entries are a separate entry from the standard solo category. Dancers will enter BOTH the Title and the regular Solo Category, and will pay for each separately and perform in both categories in the schedule. A Title entry will answer a simple on-stage question from the judges and then will perform. The Title entry will ONLY be eligible for the Title Awards and will be awarded in a separate award ceremony after all Title entries have performed. Scores do not carry over to their Solo performance that is eligible for adjudication and overall awards. Titles entries are available for ALL levels (Beginning, Intermediate and Elite) in ages 8 & under, 9-11, 12-14 & 15-18. First and second runner up will earn a medal and the title winner will receive a trophy fit for a king or queen and a sash. Title winners will be acknowledged again during the award ceremony following their regular solo performance, highlighted on social media and in the next season’s program.

Dancers should arrive at the start of each age category, as all dancers will be asked their on-stage question, as a group, before each aged session. Title performances will then proceed. Title entries have to be entered in the same level as their regular solo competition entry (registered by the studio).

Please check with your studio owner or director for cost expectations for title entries. Title entries will not be accepted until paid in full. Please fill out the form below for each title entry.

Title submission deadline: 30 days prior to event
